Card Kit Instructions
Welcome and thank you for buying a card making kit from me! Every envelope has the template number written inside the envelope flap. Be careful not to mix up the pieces from each envelope as it may cause confusion when assembling the cards. I recommend using a permanent tape runner to adhere all layers to the card base. Liquid glue has a tendency to cause paper warping and wrinkles. And glue sticks harden and crack over time, which means that your layers may pop off the card, ruining your hard work and keepsake cards.
Tape runners are easy to use: just press down gently and pull back to roll the adhesive across the paper. I recommend buying a tape runner made by Tombow in the blue cartridge, like this one:

These can usually be found at stores like Michael's or Staples. Other brands also work well if you're not able to find the Tombow brand. I've even found tape runners in the craft section of the Dollarstore, and they worked very well. They just have less tape on the roll than the Tombow one so will probably need 2 to complete 6 cards. If you still can't find a tape runner, an inexpensive roll of double sided tape will do nicely as well.
The only other thing you might need is a pair of sharp scissors to trim ribbon ends. And that's it! Have fun making your cards! They should be thin enough to mail with regular postage. Refer to the section below to see full pdfs with templates and instructions for each card. |
